A Turkish-based company has created toy cars that can transform into robots that resemble that of those in Transformers.
A total of 12 engineers were working for the past 8 months on the project. The end result was a fully-functional prototype that took inspiration from the red BMW 3 Series coupe. It slowly turns into a giant robot called ANTIMON.
The Antimon is kinetic and can be driven by a remote control, when its in vehicle mode and is the first one released to the public.
Engineers are planing to work on 4 other prototypes, that will they will release if they get enough funds. Their names and 3D models of them can be found on the official Letrons website.
The other 4 bad-ass boys are called BIZMUT, ARGON, WOLFRAM and TANTAL and they are also inspired by various models of BMW.
The Antimon is not able to walk yet but engineers said that it can be possible if they find potential buyers who are willing to pay extra for that feature.
“Walking functionality was not developed for ANTIMON. The walking functionality can be added if a reasonable funding is provided for a new research and development project.”a Letvision representative said.
We are sure that this state-of-the-arc machinery will not be cheap either. This was obviously made for rich people who would want to spoil their kids with a real life ”Transformer”.
